A trip up Egmont Road …. Mount Taranaki with Murray 2026

This is a late afternoon drive from the new lower carpark to the top carpark where the almost completed visitors centre is and then back again. On the way down i also stopped to check out a tree that fell over and completely blocked the road just 2 days before. The lower carpark was created because there was a lack of carparks at the to so on the busy days people park there and then travel the remaining 7km in a free bus shuttle service.
