Age Concern Taranaki celebrate the International Day of The Older Persons 2025

Age Concern Taranaki organised an Intergenerational March in New Plymouth’s CBD to celebrate the International Day of The Older Persons. A superb local band Gumboot Tango entertained the crowd and inspiring speeches were made.

The City of New Plymouth Caledonian Pipe Band led the march around the block, while Gumboot Tango continued to entertain those who stayed at the plaza to hold the fort. It was a fantastic initiative
