Amazing Taranaki historic photo collection comes to life 2026

Puke Ariki were entrusted with the photo archives of the Feavers from Opunake back in the 70’s. The Feavers were the pharmacists there in the early 1900’s and some of the 1890’s. They amassed an amazing collection of glass plate photos which are now (after some funding) just starting to be processed for people to see.
