COMIC BOOK DAY IN HAWERA 2019

Move over San Diego because Comic Con came to Hawera on Saturday 4 May 2019  from 10am till 12:30pm at the town library.

Kids and adults came out in force last weekend to celebrate the annual #freeComicBookDay held by South Taranaki LibraryPlus .

Hundreds of comic books were given away and free art workshops were held by #comicbook creators. A real inspiration for Hawera’s young talent.

South #Taranaki Mayor Ross Dunlop even dressed for the occasion as the popular comic book character, #Batman.
