Fernery, Pukekura Park, New Plymouth 2016

This is a video of the Fernery and display houses at Pukerkura Park in New Plymouth, New Zealand. Pukekura park is beautiful in itself and the Fernery once known as the begonia house is the most amazing thing like this i have ever seen. It consists of three interconnecting glass topped caverns dug into the earth. Being below ground level the climate is much more temperate and there is a collection of indoor and outdoor plants from around the world. This dates back to 1927, it is a must to see while in Taranaki!
