Flanagan Cup 2025

This year’s 2025 Bayleys The Flannagan Cup started with all swimmers in the water. In previous years the competitors ran down into the water. Each competitor wore a timing chip, and this meant that each swimmer got their name and time mentioned when they crossed the finish line.

An elite NZ open water swimmer from Auckland aiming for the Olympics has won the 2025 BAYLEYS The Flannagan Cup.

Well done to Alex Dunkley. His winning time for the 3.6km course was 40.52, Zac Reid was second 42.56 followed by Robbie White 42.49.
