Life on a Bell Block Dairy Farm 1958-59

This is a delightful film depicting day-to-day life on a dairy farm at Bell Block around 1958 -59.The farm was situated somewhere between Mangati  Road and Wills Road.  These days the farmland is now all housing, and the Bell Block dairy factory is long gone.

The film was shot by well Known Film maker Roy Lovell, but as it was in a private collection, this is the first time that the general public as had a chance to see it.
