DAME MALVINA MAJOR – One of the longest and most successful careers, played out in the bright lights of the Opera is that of the sensational, internationally renowned Dame Malvina Major. From living on the land in Coastal Taranaki and raising her family to playing an amazing 28 major roles in the Opera and so many outstanding concerts – Dame Malvina has applied heart and soul to life – giving her best to everything. A self-proclaimed lover of people who has given countless amounts of her time to supporting emerging artists and mentoring those aspiring to follow in her footsteps.
