Migrant Connections celebrate a wonderful Ten Years. 2024

Well done Geetha Kutty and Migrant Connections Taranaki on a wonderful Ten Years. Geetha and her committee have achieved a lot in the last ten years.

Migrants Connection is an initiative to assist migrants and their families to get accustomed to shift in culture and to help them integrate into the local community, by providing ongoing support on a case-by-case basis with the skills, tools, and networks they require.

They work with service providers and employers to provide support to migrants and families. Highlights include: the publication of two booklets, Homeland then and Now, and Ethnic Flavours to New Zealand.  Special thanks to funders Department of Internal Affairs, Toi Foundation, NPDC and Ministry of Ethnic Communities.  Geetha has also helped numerous ethic groups to organise events and entertainment.
