Te Ara o Te Ata: Mt Messenger Bypass: December 2024 drone flyover. Recorded in early December, the footage shows our progress along the six-kilometre route as the project team prepares to start tunnel excavations in early 2025.

You can see work on the southern section of the bypass starting to shape up, preparations as we get ready to start excavating the 235-metre-long tunnel, and the work happening on the northern side of the future tunnel.
