South Taranaki Mayor Phil Nixont the Council’s highlights and challenges 2024

South Taranaki District Council Mayor Phil Nixon lists the Council’s highlights and challenges.

Phil Nixon makes reference to Te Ramanui o Ruapūtahanga (Hawera’s new library, arts & iSite Centre). I think this will be transformational for Hawera’s CBD.

The estimated cost for this complex in 2012 was $8m, but it will now cost $17m (when it opens later this year).
