Meet Stephen ‘Hoppy’ Hopkinson, vet, community leader, all-round South Taranaki legend and this week’s ASB Good as Gold recipient.

When the severe droughts started hitting in December, Hoppy stepped up to support local farmers in the region, offering his knowledge, guidance, and leadership to make a real difference when it was needed most.

He’s been a calm, capable force behind the scenes – and the community is stronger thanks to him.
