 Tahunaroa road, Cream Track to Whanganui River project by W.R.A.G.

The Cream Track to the Whanganui River project, especially thanks to TSB Community Trust and Backcountry Trust for their funding of this project. The Whangamomona Road Action Group (W.R.A.G.) are endeavouring to open the old cream track found in the Aotuhia Valley, Tahunaroa road to the Whanganui National Park to the general public. Here Tim Payne shows what has been accomplished so far. The project is now very near completion. This Taranaki area is steeped in history and would make a tremendous place to visit if access were made easier. The confluence of the Tangarakau and Whanganui rivers is spectacular.
