 One of South Taranaki’s best known historians is Arthur Fryer; but as well as having a keen interest in History he has also been a school Teacher, a Newspaper Columnist and author of a number of books. South Taranaki has been Arthur’s home for a long time but his early years were spent on the North Island’s East Coast … this is Arthur’s story
