The art of weaving was brought to life at a catwalk show at Puke Ariki.

Call of Taranaki: Reo Karanga o Taranaki is an exhibition of 25 leading contemporary Maori artists all with whakapapa ties to Taranaki iwi.

The exhibition also includes sculpture, mixed media, photography and clay and painting works through which the artists celebrate their connections to Taranaki and the magnetic pull of the mountain.
