Chester Borrows MP for Whanganui – February 2010

Chester talks about the impending visit of the PM to South Taranaki on the 18th of March to open the oil field at Kupe  www.nzog.com/Kupe and the sports hub at Hawera www.thehub.org.nz, capped off with a visit to the Tawhiti Museum  www.tawhitimuseum.co.nz. He goes on to talk about the replica riverboat – the Adventurer 2 – in Whanganui and the history it represents – and recreates. In closing, he talks about two visits on two consecutive days to Parliament by Grey Power chapters from Whanganui who came to Wellington in part, he says, to “check up on me” and see that he’s doing a good job for them.
