Good Mahi: Ōhura A&P Show

Living in an isolated community like Ōhura presents unique challenges, but the people here are resilient, creative, and hard-working. Sophie Moore-Stockbridge   and Justin Stockbridge   talk about the challenges but also opportunities to thrive in a remote area such as Ōhura. The annual Ohura APH&I show is a testament to this spirit of community, as families gather to celebrate their shared rural way of life and build relationship to create a stronger community in a place where it literally takes a village to thrive. The show is particularly important for the children of the community, who represent the future of Ōhura.
