Heritage month 2022 Polish exhibition

There was a wonderful historical Polish exhibition in Inglewood in October 22 called “Between The Waters” presented by the Polish Legacy in NZ Charitable Trust. Featured in the edited video below is a short speech by Dorota Szymanska and the Polish ambassador Grzegorz Kowal. The great piano music at the end of my video is by Poland’s most famous musician, Chopin.

The Polish community have been in Taranaki for 145 years and have made an outstanding contribution, especially in Inglewood.
