Housing development could uncover Taranaki history 2017

Usually, a housing development on a site of significance would draw protest and opposition. But in Taranaki, a hapū is taking a different approach. They’re working alongside the New Plymouth District Council as it excavates a site that could uncover thousands of buried bodies. And as Ripeka Timutimu reports, the area being developed is also known as a historic battle site.
