My Big Backyard – Tyler and our Taranaki Penguins

This is the My Big Backyard Taranaki penguins segment from the popular TVNZ show “Fanimals”.  It was originally aired in 2018 when our local young marine champ, Tyler shared some insight on our local kororā / little blue penguins.

Tyler was a citizen scientist with Finding Little Blue in 2018 when she was a student at Devon Intermediate. She helped raised awareness for our local kororā by doing such a great job on this episode and even wore a Finding Little Blue branded shirt!
