‘Rising, Hurunga’ featured at the 2023 Lysaght Watt trust Art Awards in Hawera, Taranaki from the 8th May – 17 June.

About ‘Rising, Hurunga’ –

The Korus symbolise people (of all ages, races, ethnicities) rising in their power – the gold light is for protection, aroha, strength and support. Through Whanaungatanga, Manakitanga, and Kotahitanga are we able to stay close to the light, especially in times of darkness.
