Patea Area School – NZ UNESCO Award in Education winners 2018

Patea Area School – NZ National Commission for UNESCO Award in Education winners. Patea Area School won the Education Sector category of our 2018 Award in Global Citizenship Education. The school developed a learning model that embeds global citizenship in their curriculum delivery. This has turned the school around in a positive way and engaged the local community. The school’s approach is reflected in their vision statement: ‘Growing good people for a changing world’.
