Te Atiawa story woven into new Taranaki airport terminal 2020

 Travellers passing through the new $29 million airport terminal in New Plymouth next week will find themselves immersed in the culture of the local hapū Puketapu.

The building has been designed to reflect Puketapu’s ancestral story and reconnect the Te Atiawa hapū with its whenua.
