The legendary Ziggy Bauer 

The legendary Ziggy Bauer, who from 1974 until 1986 was a world famous ultra long distance runner.

These days Ziggy lives in Eltham and people often comment on his warmth, kindness and wonderful sense of humour. Ziggy even has a NZ daffodil named after him.
