The Original Bowl of Brooklands

We all agree that the Bowl of Brooklands is one of Taranaki’s top destinations – especially when there is a concert or festival happening at the time, but how did it all begin and what was the motivation to build such a successful venue on that location?

This video is about the development of the original Bowl of Brooklands which started in 1957. It includes video footage taken during the construction.
