Footage from the Urenui Mud Run in Taranaki, New Zealand, featuring a cast of hundreds.

The mud run is an annual fun-run event which features beach running, hill climbing, cargo nets, obstacles, slides, swimming and plenty of mud.

Over 700 people took part in 2013 with everyone of them in costume.
