“Welcome to Ngāmotu, Taranaki”

Venture Taranaki is proud to announce the development of a new welcome video, titled “Welcome to Ngāmotu, Taranaki”, in partnership with Ngāti Te Whiti, NPDC’s Puke Ariki, and supported by Puke Ariki Trust and NP Partners.

This new welcome video captures the essence of Taranaki and honours mana whenua, partnering alongside Ngāti Te Whiti hapū to provide education and insights from a hapū perspective, connecting manuhiri (visitors) with our people and place, and extending manaakitanga (hospitality).

And the new cinema experience couldn’t come at a better time, as Taranaki anticipates a large influx of visitors to region over the summer, including 8,000 cruise passengers who will be arriving through Port Taranaki across the summer season.
